Stroke is the third leading cause of death and the number one cause of long-term disability in the United States. 'I've written a document which can be downloaded by clicking below, and which covers many things I've encountered since my stroke, and my journey to reclaim a meaningful life. I'm hopeful that my experiences may be helpful to someone starting that same journey or in the middle of it now. These experiences could not only be beneficial to an individual, but also to their spouse, family, or caregiver.
